I am looking for a program to keep track of my personal finances, checking, savings, CD's...etc.
I do not need to access the online banking feature. I would like something, after I enter all my accounts, to be able to print a page summary of all my accounts with a summary of the amount....Is Quicken the best choice?

Quicken continues to work so well for me ever since I bought the first version back in the early 90's. This program allows me to download & import statements from my financial service organizations into my Quicken files as well as bring up items deemed eligible for income tax deductions.

We have been using MYOB;
(Mind Your Own Business)for many years and it has loads of features.

However it sounds like you could do your accounting with a simple spread sheet, lots of templates available for download if you Google.

If you want to go to MS site you better hurry. I read somewhere that come January 2007 M$ will implement OGA validation check for anybody wanting to download Office templates, etc.
