while checking on Permissions in my registry for the main keys (regedit, Edit, Permissions), found a surprise in the key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG
in addition to the Administrators group, the System group and Users group, this appeared:
Account Unknown (S-1-5-32-547)
Permissions allowed said "Read" only, but clicking on the Advanced tab, then the Edit button, shows four specific permissions are allowed for the unknown account, namely:
Query Value
Enumerate Subkeys
Notify
Read Controlmy first impulse is to delete this unknown account, but am checking first with you folks to see if anyone can shed some light on the subject.
could it be one of my installed utilities such as the anti-keylogger?

S-1-5-32-547 is the sid (security id) of the BUILTIN\Power-Users account, Which cannot be used over a domain.
Perfectly normal Xp fayre.
