Solved Accidently selected external monitor

Specs: Windows XP, Intel Celeron 1.5 GHZ, 512MB RAM

On my Toshiba laptop, I accidentally changed my monitor to 'external' so cannot see anything on screen. I plugged in external monitor and it said wrong frequency, I can't see anything on my built in LCD, tried the FN shortcuts and nothing. Anybody know what to do?

unplug the external and restart the laptop. Should revert back.

just tried, the displays on but no picture. shows the windows XP boot screen but stops before the log in screen

Boot to Windows Safe Mode (F6) and toggle back to internal display.
