Specs: Windows XP
Hi,I have a computer which i accidentally stupidly removed from the original domain/network and now I can't access any of my documents etc.
I used to log on as the administrator but whren I tried to do that it would not log on. Have I completely mucked it up or can I reverse what I did and go back to logging on as administrator again?
This was an old office computer and I do not have any recovery discs or other discs for it.
Thank you

Have you tried adding back to the domain?

HI, thanks for replying. I'm so annoyed because I don't know how to do it and am afraid to mess with it again

HI, thanks for your help . I have logged on to the link and tried to follow the various instructions but whenever I do something the 'cannot find the path/file etc' comes up.
I will try again but will probably end up buying a new pc - silly me for messing with it in the first place.

How did you add it to the network to begin with? Did you set up a network using the win xp cd?

Hi,
No, the pc came from my brother's old company office after they renewed their system about 3 years ago. It was already set up, I just used it as it came; it didn't come to me with the win xp cd.
It must 5-6 years old now so probably time for a new one anyway.
