I am using another computer right now. I got an error on my computer I use saying "Error: Access violation at 0x7C91EFD2 (tried to write to 0x00040FF0), program terminated" Safe mode isn't working either, so I can't use the computer! I know it's because of a keylogger I downloaded, but I can't uninstall it because as soon as I login to my screename, it goes blank and says that.
If you can't get into safe mode then a system repair may work, but the problem may still be there. In that case you are probably in for a format/reinstall.

When I go to safe mode, all that shows up is the background for my login screen, but the icons to login to my computer don't show up, so I cannot log in. There has to be a way... Is there a safe mode patch?

Try hitting ctrl-alt-del twice to see if you can bring up the classic logon prompt while getting into Safe Mode.
