I have an HP pavilion ze5000 laptop and i recently reformatted my harddrive. And now my system crashes very often and in the past year it had only crahsed once before. When i restart my computer it says the problem was due to my ethernet connection. So i went to my device manager and saw that i had my wireless hardware uninstalled. So when i go to install it, it says that access is denied. how can i fix this? the hardware is "LAN-Express IEEE 802.11 PCI Adapter". i tried unnstalling it but the same problem occurred when i tried to update the driver.

Could be local security policy, maybe you are part of a domain and that policy is in effect. Might be that a registry key was changed.

I would consider a system restore point maybe.
