Well folks, I spent almost an entire day trying to rid myself of this hijacker and downloaded more programs that said they could get rid of it and couldn't, except one. Adaware Away caught every variant, even to the point where I couldn't even get my email without that hijacker taking over. It's a free program and thought I should let others be aware if they have that problem. I've seen it on other computers and was never able to get rid of it.

Adaware SE does nothing to combat hijackers. I assume that it was never designed to do so. Clyde's problem is a variant of Cool Web Search. CW shredder is very good at eliminating this pest. Hijackthis can also be used with caution.

You know, I reread my original post and it's confusing to me now LOL. Anyway, the AdawareAway cleaned the hijacker when CWShredder, Avast, and countless others failed. I hope this post can be used in future searches when someone gets hit with this nasty, mean hijacker. It wouldn't let me open my MSN accout or Yahoo, all I could was access the search engines and I couldn't use the exe. function for downloads, I had to physically save it to the computer and load it afterwards. The people who created this one need to be hung by the balls and skinned an inch at a time.
