Hey, everyone,
I have a question about installing XP x64. I have a HDD that I've been using as my HDD on my g/f's comp, so I have info on it. It was purchased OEM, so I formatted with NTFS from Windows XP Professional x86. However, I will soon be using this HDD as my primary. Is it possible to install XP x64 w/o formatting since it's been formatted already?
Thanks,
Keenan

Repartitioning and reformatting a preformatted drive is an optional task during XP installation.

Just choose the option to leave the drive settings intact and XP will go about its installation.
