Description:ABetterInternet.Nail, previously known as VX2, is a component of Direct Revenue's Aurora. Nail can integrate tightly with the operating system and may require a removal tool to be run to completely eliminate it. Lavasoft provides the VX2 Cleaner for this purpose, which can be found at http://www.lavasoft.com/download "

Sorry I don't have an answer.. I've had the same problem, a real pain I swear. Although I still havent got rid of it, my f-secure firewall has blocked it from connecting to the net (it asked me over 200 times though, as every time Aurora/Nail.exe connected it used a different name.. or so..) I don't know how to fix it really, I'm curious to know if anyone solved this since every single app I've used didn't remove it as promised.

Whaaat.. I found mine very fast.. Damn, it was such a long time ago, I don't remember where it was.. I think mine was in system32 but not 100 % sure (my memory sucks) Oh, and it might have a different name as well, like "01456890865" or "A better internet". I'm really sorry I can't be more precise, like I said, this was a very long time ago.

Ok, Nail.exe could be a hidden file, so incase it is make sure:

a.) youre search includes hidden files and folders (by clicking on Search -> files and folders, then type Nail.exe or Aurora or whatever, then before clicking on "search" check the advanced tab and see if "include hidden files and folder" option is checked.)

b.) if you want to search for it manually, folder by folder turn on this feature:
Right click on My computer-> Explore -> Tools -> Folder Options "Hidden Files and Folders = click on "Show hidden files and folders". If you must, then also uncheck the "Hide protected system files" or similar option, but be careful, if you by harm some system file you might destroy your computer, and/or end up with a non-bootable one.

Just remember to switch back after you're done.
