Hello. Recently checking services for not needed processes and found a new one, a weird process called “ftrbokrmusoi” and it leads to some C:\WINDOWS\System32\msupd5.exe It is on automatic state and has no dependencies. I couldn’t really see it running in actual running processes list. Anyone know what is that? Is it needed? What is it? Thanks. The beat never fades!

Looks like msupd5.exe is spyware, according to my search at Yahoo. Spyware info.from Microsoft Maybe check for, and remove SpyWare. Here you will find links for detection and removal software. msupd5 appears to be a malignant trojan horse according to this page. Did you ever get BSOD? If you did, also read this MSKB. i_XpUser
