A message show me that I've a pending restart

Specs: Windows XP, Dual-Core/2GB
Sometimes my PC show me a message like: You have a pending restart do you want to continue?

I would like to know that how to find out this required restart pending. If there are any tool to see this kind of issue please don't forgot to listed into your answer.

More than likely it's from Windows Update. Do you have the notification area unhidden in the taskbar?

You are not in my point, plz listen after installing a program it's required restart but you can do it later. This time if you start another installation you must see this message telling you have a pending restart. I need to know how I show the issue such as registry data or a tool can show me the point.

I'd say don't install more than one app at a time.

Generally makers of software have improved their installers but I don't trust them.

Do a restore point and do one at a time.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

I totally agree with Jefro: "I'd say don't install more than one app at a time." If you deliberately choose to re-start later, you choose the consequences of that decision, even if it is just putting up with the occasional recurring nag.

I too second the 'install one application at a time and then restart'. The application might have to load a dll or reread the registry. A restart takes a moment.
