I have Windows XP for small business. We use applications that run in Dos. When printing from Dos, the print job is on hold until the program is terminated. On a Windows95, 98 machine we solved this problem by editing the c:\windows\system.ini file and adding the following lines.

[Network]
PrintBufTime=3

[IFSMgr]
PrintBufTime=3

But this doesn't work on a Windows XP machine. If anybody has any ideas that could help me out that would be very beneficial. Thank you.
