Seems this is a lost and forgotten tool that can be used to do some serious tweaking within XP without any 3rd party applications.
If you go to run and type in "gpedit.msc" without the quotes and then go to the very last item that is listed which is "Administrative Templates" and click the minus sign you will find a host of options that you can disable.
Yes, it takes time to go threw the list but you can do a lot with this simple tool and is something that should not be overlooked.

right on Kevin I multi-boot w2k and XP on my box and this works on w2k too. You can also type in "secpol.msc" (without the quotes) to access your security options and further harden your system
