I lost my select OS boot screen(98/XP Pro). I recovered it with recovery console but now I'm left with a third choice of "XP Pro Setup" along with start xp or 98. How do I remove this setup option?

Check your boot.ini file. You can edit it if you feel comfortable. This will get rid of the other choice.
