I haven't got Windows XP but im looking to get it. Problem is i've read it needs an 800x600 screen resolution as the minimum. I currently run Win2000 at 640x480 because it's easier on my eyes (plus my monitors a 14" screen!) I once tried an XP theme on my system at 640x480 and when I clicked start, the XP style menu was all messed up in this screen mode, yet it was OK when i tested it at 800x600. Windows XP does have a 'classic' mode - am i guessing right by saying when using the classic mode, 640x480 screen mode will work fine?
Thanks,
Alex

Go to Display properties/settings tab and click on advanced and change the DPI setting to 120dpi, it will look like 640x480 resolution
