Hi!
I just bought a 3CRUSB10075 (3com OfficeConnect Wireless 11g adapter). I'm having problems with it... Sometimes, it works very well. I use it on a desktop PC so my link connection is constantly very strong (Quality 95% Strenght 82%).
However, sometimes, it's just like if it "disconnected" from my wireless dlink router. I type 192.168.0.1 to make sure it's not my internet connection, but I cannot connect to my router though i can with my laptop.
I try to disable and enable it again, i restart the wireless application but it doesn't work. The only solution is to restart the computer.
Do you think it might be a windows problem? I don't understand why i need to reboot...
Thank's for youf help!

Try one more thing. XP has a "repair" function on the network connection. I put the connected icon on taskbar in network settings. Repair is a group of commands that may fix the problem. It repair does fix it then you can try each of the commands that repair does and get to the problem.
See also event viewer logs too for more clues.

Thank's, i'll try it out next time it happens. Do you have any idea why it suddenly "stops" detecting any wireless network? (In fact, my adapter normally shows 4 or 5 networks available, except when it suddenly stops detecting them and mine...)

i gave exactly the same problem with my dynamode 54g pci card (based on the marvell chipset (mrv8k51))
i need help...but this does not work as it just freezes (on disabling network device) when i try to repair - help!

I have the very same problem with a 3COM 3CRUSB10075. Works after a reboot, not for all that long though usually. The repair function usually doesnt work, either failing because there is no wireless network found in the first place or it fails getting an IP address and gets a 169.x address instead (APIPA).
I have the latest drivers installed, my machines not all that far from the AP (through a wall though) and my laptop works fine from the same location.
I have a 3com AP too.
Any help would be appreciated, Im not sure I 100% trust my XP build any more so might try a repair with the CD, but thats a second to last resort. :)

Same problem here with 3COM 3CRUSB10075.
Seems like USB "looses" the device when processor is being 100% used.
Router is ok, since notebook with built-in WiFi is always connected.
I use WinXP SP2
