2ndary HDD won't show in My Compute

Comment:
I have just installed a secondary HDD in my machine. It is recognised in CMOS and Device Manager, but won't show up in My Computer or Windows Explorer.
Is there any procedure I should follow to eliminate this problem?

You probably need to format it.
Right Click on..My Computer Icon, Choose Manage,Now Click on.. Disk Management,If it shows up there right click on the drive letter at bottom right and choose format.

The drive must be partitioned/formatted. Right click My Computer, select 'Manage', Select "Disk Management. You can do that there.

If the the jumpers were not set correctly, then the HDD probably would not be recognised in CMOS and Device Manager.
