Comment: I would like to use an old p2-class PC as a dedicated music server. Is this possible? How?

Reply: (edit)That is entirely possible, the easyest way to do it would be to set up a 'home or small office network' from within network connections (assuming you're using xp). All you'll need is your two pc's (with windows and a network card in each) and a crossover lead to connect them. If you don't want a monitor, mouse etc. on your server you can use vnc to remotley administrate your server. Is this in depth enough for you or would like further directions? Andy
