2nd hard drive disappeared

OS: XP PRO
CPU/Ram: 500 Mh Ram 128

I've updated to XP pro, have done numerous recoverys, driver conflicts I believe. I now have LOST my 60Gig hard drive LOL I'm "somewhat" familiar w/ computers but I guess I'm lacking hehe Could someone please tell me how I can make windows recognize there is another hard drive? Or how I can locate Thanks in advance!

go to disk management, mount the volume there and make it active

~sorry didn't help...I can't find 60gig hard drive on the computer at all. Under device manager I have mass storage device w/ a yellow ! says there is no drivers installed? I assume that might be the hard drive?
