2ND Disk read error on new disk

After my previous disk read errors with my seagate SATA i just decided to save alot of hassle and go for Brand New Maxtor 250GB SATA thinking no way i could get a disk read error on this a 2nd time (ha ha) how wrong i was like before random times disk read error has occured ! i am now at my wits end i just want a machine that runs 1st time every time

Memory problems can show up as disk errors.

There is a version to create a bootable floppy diskette and/or an ISO for creating a CD.
Run it overnight and any failures are unacceptable.

What is the exact error message?

Have you tried uninstalling SP3 to see if the problem is still there?

when i re installed windows it did it b4 i had a chance to put sp3 on

i was toying with the idea it maybe a faulty windows disc even tho i had no B.S.O.D s when it was installing .
