When I plug in my flash drive sometimes I get a message saying it will not run fast due to it being a 1.0 port. This only happens sometimes, other times the message does not appear and the files transfer MUCH faster (were talking less than 30 secs. for a Gig file to 10 Min. when I get the message). I try different ports on my laptop but if its acting up i.e. getting that message all the ports run slow. Whats the deal?

With a Dell PC you should have recieved a CD marked drivers and utilities ? If not contact Dell and see for your model whats available ,perhaps they can direct you to a online download for the driver you need ? Dell also has a web site for its customers> http://www.dellcommunity.com/suppor... < Go there register and then post your problem in the hardware forum ? Good Luck ,Nick
