I am having two main problems with my Toshiba Laptop running Windows XP.
1- As soon as I windows opens, a popup says there is a missing file called uuesp2.exe . This file was deleted two days ago by Antivir Personal as a trojan. I can't get rid of this popup from the registry nor msconfig. Is their another way to get rid of it?
2- I usually use wireless internet access but this week as I have needed more than one to use dialup internet, I noticed that the computer locks after the connected is connected successfully for about 5-6 mins then it returns to work back normally.
Please help me with those two problems, I've just done a full antivirus scan and a spyware scan using Spybot S&D.Hope someone has any idea about these two problems ...
Thanks
Joseph Daniel

Try going into safe mode with networking and run Housecall or Kaspersky online scans. That should help you. I would also suggest using Spyware Blaster, Windows Defender and Adaware SE.

I've scanned my systems and not found this file anywhere so I think we can say that uuesp2.exe is not a native windows file.

check to see if uuesp2.exe in system32 while in safe mode. If it is delete it, reboot and run sfc /scannow to make sure all your system files are ok. That may work for you.
Hopefully my advice will help you...Please post back with your results....thanks

I couldn't delete it at all... I solved it another way. I created an empty VB application with the same name and put it in system32. Now it doesn't ask for the file and opens quickly ;). Not a bad solution.
For the internet, I still found no solution.
