i done a install on my hard drive and it failed now when i start it up i get what OS do u want to boot with is there anyway i can remove the OS what had failed with out a format

What were you trying to install ? Can you boot into safe mode ?

its all right mate i got it removed by doing this
start < run > type msconfig < ok > go to the boot.ini tab < click on check all boot paths

You didn't remove the installation. You just are not seeing it anymore.

Yep, it's still there. What caused the two OS problem? Did you attempt to reinstall XP & not pay attention during the installation?
