Ok, so I have 2 gigabytes of RAM, running Vista Home Basic, and under My Computer, it says I have 2.00 GB of Memory. Though, when I look under task manager, and under Performance, it says I have 894 MB of total Physical RAM.
And under the Boot menu of msconfig, it will only allow 896 MB, as the maximum!
I've tried and failed several times to get this fixed. I will greatly appreciate any help I receive.
~Thank You

"Under My Computer, it says I have 2 GB..." Do you mean under Control Panel, System?
If you're running Vista, you should probably have posted in the Vista Forum, not the XP Forum.

Is the memory Dual memory? If so does your motherboard support it? I had a similar problem and decided that was causing the different readings of memory available. Among other things System Information listed less Total Physical Memory than Total Available Memory.

One of the sticks may be bad. Download Memtest86 and burn to a CD. This will check your memory for any errors
