Please, in need of serious help!
I hope I didnt destroy TWO systems. I am getting 4 beeps, and I cant turn on the computer. It happened right after I tried to add more RAM. I tried reseating the video card and tried using the other RAMs I had, all which I believe is PC133.
The system is:Celeron 400
Windows XP Pro
Some trident video card
Now here is the other system:Duron 500, overclocked to 650
Windows XP Pro
GeForce 2I just reinstalled the operating system on this computer for a friend, everything was running fine exept it said something about the drivers for my video cards wasnt installed and it restared itself on the initial first load of Windows XP Pro. It restarted and it seemed to work fine, move some files around clean some things up, installed a few things. I tried to play some video and it crashed, tried it a few more times and XP kept crashing. Here is the error
report:
ooopp... its on the other computer!
Anyhow, I switched the video card on the other compupter (Celeron400) to test if it was the video card... then I got the 4 beeps again, so I figured it was the video card that was damaged. I put the GeForce 2 back in... and STILL GOT THE 4 beeps... I played around with the RAM combination... and STILL 4 BEEPS. I
FINNALLY put back the original components:
-geforce2 video
-1 stick of 512
-2 sticks of 128But now its STILL givin me 4 beeps!!! Did I just ruin BOTH computers!? Please help, both of these computers arent even mine... was just trying to help a couple friends out... now I killed BOTH computers!

Go to the web site of who made the motherboards and get the beep decoder chart. It's trying to tell you something is wrong at boot up. It could be as simple as the combination of devices is not bootable. It happens. You should see some of the stuff that gets to sit on my bench going beep beep beep. Do your research.
And um, switch to decafe.
