Comment: On some installations, I get error messages titled "16-bit Windows Subsystem". Then config.nt. was not found, click close to close, and ignore to ignore." It's started to get on my nerves now, as I can't install some vital updates and programs, what do I do? Have I deleted some windows subsytem file accidentally?

Reply: (edit)Go to Microsoft Knowledge Base and under Windows XP enter 16-bit subsystem and you'll get many solutions to your problem. Most cite corrupted programs or the registry.
