Hi ppl,I am having problem with xp its showing 100% use even when pc ids idle n when i try 2 disable my net(lan) it says
"It is not possible to disable the connection at this time.This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support plug n play or it may have been initiated my another user,or account" but when i remove all the lan config (i.e ip address) and restart my pc cpu use is normal btw svchost.exe is using my pc (89%)plz help

Try this.

SVCHOST.EXE Network Services hogging cpu up to 100%

Go to "Services" - Disable > "DNS Client", click Apply & OK - restart comp.
To access Services.
Start > My Computer, right click & select Manage.
Click on the + next to Services and Applications.
Click on Services.
Or,
Start > Run, copy & paste > services.msc & press Enter.
