100% CPU usage

CPU/Ram: AMD 1.7

Hey guys, I just reformatted my computer and did a clean install of win XP. now everytime I start my computer it takes and I click on my computer nothing is there it keeps searching. the task manager shows 100% cpu usage. I have all of the win updates, free of virus, remember just reformatted the HD. Can anyone help?

Hi Gabriel, when you open task manager, and click on "processes", can you determine what process is hogging it up?
