My moms cpu usage on her computer is 100 percent. I have no idea whats doing this. I used spybot/adaware and couldnt detect anything bad.. What are possible causes of this?

Hello,
What process is running at 100 percent? Use taskmanager to determine the name, then use regedit to see if the file with the same name is in the startup. If you find it, post the information here, before you remove it, and we can tell you if it is critical to windows.
