"Also samee problem on System Idle Process at times"
The less your computer is doing, the higher the % for System Idle Process - that is normal.
..........rpcss.exe is a process that that can be used by other programs, like a slave - it is a legitimate program. However, sometimes malware uses rpcss.exe.
Try ....
- you might be able to find the name of the program that is running rpcss.exe by doing this:
Start - Run - type: cmd (press Enter)
then type:
c:\windows\system32\tasklist.exe /svc (press Enter)Expand the Window if you need to see more of the results.
- unplug your internet connection (coax cable or telephone line). If some malware is using rpcss.exe to excessively access the internet, the % of CPU time rpcss.exe is using will eventually be much less, if not drop to 0%.
- if that works, or not, if you have any anti-spyware programs on your computer, run a full scan of your computer with the internet disconnected to see if it can find anything, and if it does, have it remove or quarantine the spyware. You don't need to worry about the low risk stuff like cookies - what you need to get rid of is the medium and high risl stuff.
If you don't have an anti-spyware program, a good freeware one to download to start with is AdAware Personal SE:
http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products...- run a full scan of ALL files with your anti-virus software with the internet disconnected. Many antivirus programs are set to only scan executable files by default - you must find the settings for which files are scanned and make sure it is set to ALL files.
- connect the internet and see if your problem has gone way.
