I'm running a dual boot(win2000/xp pro) home built with an amd 1 gz processor. My cpu is running at or about 100% and being used by "SYSTEM". NOT sys idle process. It is ok in safe mode but not ok when I boot up using the diag options in msconfig(minimal services)Does anyone have a clue what is going on here? I've cleaned up the registry/uninstalled any suspicious software,
unplugged all usb equipment. I've repaired(reinstalled XP)and still no luck. Win 2000 boots up and runs fine(it's on a different partition but same disk). Help would be appreciated! Thanks
