This appears to be an xp problem: When I try to import twain in PhotoShop I get "Could not complete the import command because of program error." When I terminate PhotoShop I get error" The instruction at "0x0710595a" reference memory at "0xedecewbea". The memory could not be written. I've done all the obvious including loading and unloading twain, Photoshop and scanner. Scanner tech and photoshop tech say it xp error. I've searched and searched but no reference to this error. Please Help!

Might be a compatibility problem. I got these sort of error messages (memory could not be written) and after I pulled out my Creative Labs soundcard they were gone....!! Although XP has and installs the drivers for this soundcard. Your problem could have to do with a compatability problem with Photoshop. Perhaps hardware. Are there any problems listed in your device manager? Tried the compatability wizard on photoshop?
