i know people have gotten zune to work in windows vista, but I have tried all three ways and all have failed (MoDaCo, Andre de Cavaignac, and running it streight with xp cokmpatibility) I get the message "error occured please restart and try again" when i run zune setup and when i run zune.msi streight i get the message "setup has ended prematurely because of an error"

I dont know y it wont work on mine and it will on other peoples

Is there any alternative to put media on zune other than zune software? (i googled it and it said there isnt, but maybe someone knows something different)

Most of the reviews that I've seen on the Zune aren't very good. Some say it's downright horrible & riddled with bugs, others say avoid it like the plague, others call it crap, & an article I read today said that "the Zune will be dead & gone within 6 months - good riddance". But I'm sure it will work just fine with a beta OS...lol

Yeah but whats the use in upgrading again, ive filled Rc2 with my stuff and it will just have to go by may 07.

Its not my zune its my friends. He doesnt own a computer capable of running zune or prety much anything. (200mhz amd + 32mb ram)
so im the person who puts media on his MP3 players and lets him use my stuff.

I agree that the zune is pretty much crap, when he first got it i reall really liked it and wanted to get one for myself if they ever came out with a bigger one (I own ipod 60g video) the screen is graet and it looks real good, videos are high quality, but the audio volume doesnt match the ipod or the sound quality. The ipod is a much better machine in my eyes. Also the fact that you cant just plug it into the pc and go is a let down, you gotta install the whole zune that comes with it just to put stuff on it, there isnt even factory harddrive support (possible with hacks as of right now) so without zune software the zune is pretty much useless. Thats where my prob is. lol
