Have a master with XP and put in a second hard drive and installed Vista. Dual boot was no problem. Had probs with XP and reinstalled same (Pro) and now can no longer dual boot. Vista is gone but appears in My Computer. Any help? Thanks.

When you installed Vista it wrote a "boot file" to the first partition of the first drive which in this case was XP. When you re-installed XP you deleted the boot file and that is why you can't boot to Vista. VistabootPro may help you but I suspect you may have to re-install Vista.

Someone may have better advice for you.

Once I thought I was wrong, now I'm not so sure!

VistaBootPRO worked fine. You need .Net Framework 2.0 installed on XP FIRST. tHANKS.
