My PC is a HP Pavilion Slimline model, here is a link to the specs: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/hp...
Please help me. My pc froze up to the point where I had to do a hard boot from the power button. NOw it won't boot up. I turn it on and it gives the blue screen with the large hp on it and then it goes to a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left hand side.
That's all it does.
There are options on the initial screen like press ESC, F10, and F11 for like setup and to enter boot up, but I don't know how to work my way around those.
I do know that a lot of downloading occurs on this pc because several people use it and download shows, the hard drive was full with only about 5 gigs of space left. There has to be a way to retrieve, I have a lot of picutres on there that I don't want to loose.

Thank you. I actually did that over the weekend. It worked fine and I backed up all 250 gigs and put it in the other pc again and somehow it's working now. Thanks everyone. I appreciate it.
