Installed a Brother MFC-J415W printer from Sony Vista laptop and worked fine before we disconnected internet. We have since moved to a new located and now have high speed internet service. The computer shows printer is downloaded properly; however, the printer and laptop are not reading each other and nothing will print.
If your broadband router now is not the same one you had at your old location, then the wireless settings in your printer's setup menu are now invalid. Setup your printer with the new network name and wireless key and it should work again.
Hi, Try uninstalling and reinstalling printer with fresh installation. For wireless installation reference: http://washburnlaw.edu/technology/h...
If issue still persists, you can try some troubleshooting steps mentioned on: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/...
Hope this helps.
