Comment:

Someone messed with the file associations on my computer, and now everytime I try to open a zip file, windows tries to use acrobat reader. I tried to go in and tell it to use winzip instead, but I can't actually find it anywhere. How do I go back and reset this file association without actually downloading winzip?

1. Go visit MVP Ramesh Srinivasan's page for File association fixes for Windows Vista HERE.

2. Read the usage instruction then click on ZIP to save it to disc or to run it directly. This should fix your problem ... and

3. .. from now on permanently lock your friends, brothers, sisters or whoever messed with your PC out of your computer room!

Or you could just reinstall winzip or some
other zip program..
