wininit.ini deleted

Specs: windows vista, 64x2dual core 2.00gb
I deleted the wininit.ini file when a scan told me it was a virus.I can not download flash player and I am having trouble with other things to do with uploading and downloading progams. How do i get it back....

Why in the world do you want to get it back? The file, wininit.ini, is not part of Windows Vista operating system. The symptoms you described suggested to me that your machine is infected with some trojan or virus. Concentrate on first cleaning up your Vista.

I did not know this, sorry.I have Norton and windows defender and scan all the time.I could watch you tube before and now I can't because of no flash player. This has happened before but seem to fix it by downloading newer version of flash player.What now...?

As XP/Vistauser pointed out, Wininit.ini is not a legitimate file in Windows Vista. Therefore, something might be badly wrong.
