windows wont start up

alright so i turn my computer on normally and it does not start up it just goes to a black screen with the mouse arrow thats as far as it goes, i can start it up using safe mode but dont know what to do to get it back to normal, what can i do?

If you get to the desktop in safe mode, run msconfig, go to the startup tab, disable all, click apply & ok, reboot & click OK. If it works, then one of the things in startup is causing the conflict.

Also, look at the device manager for red or yellow marks.
