Vista is estimated to be available to all come January 30, 2007. Most of the folks that have it now do so by being a tester for M$.

Vista RTM was leaked out & the hackers have already devised a way to bypass activation. So much for security.....

LOL did anyone honestly think that Vista wasn't going to get cracked almost as soon as it came out? This is Microsoft vs the world people. :)

Why would you want to spend 600 dollars plus on a new pc just to get a OEM Vista upgrade? It would be cheaper to buy a Vista retail full version.

You can also get the home or basic version for free if you purchase a new computer. Im wandering if that upgrade disk work like all other upgrade disk. Can you do a clean install with the vista upgrade asl long as you have your OEM or retail copy of previous version?

The price(s) of windows Vista is not as bad as many people make it out to be. (They should be worried about DRM, but thats a different story. Here are the Vista version prices.
