|I don't know if you've messed with the System Restore settings or if your system is infected. Some viruses disable System Restore or delete Restore points as a way to protect itself from removal. I suggest you run a full virus/malware scan from safe mode.|
If your pictures are huge, it's probably because they're being displayed as the actual size rather than being fitted to the monitor screen by your imaging software. All you need to do is change the setting. You didn't state which program you're using to view the pictures so I can help you with that. If the pictures are digital camera photos, many people never change the camera settings & take photos using the full capacity of the camera. For example, the horizontal pixels of a picture taken with a 14MP camera will be over 4000p. If your monitor display is 1920 x 1080, the horizontal width of the picture would be over twice the width of the monitor.
