Windows Searches only current folder

Microsoft Windows vista ultimate w/ sp1...

Specs: Windows Vista Ultimate SP2, 3GB
Hi, I'm scratching my head on this one. At my
PC at work, whenever I enter a search term in
the search box in Windows Explorer, it
searches all subfolders from the current folder
down. But when I do the same at home, it only
searches the current folder. Both PCs have the
same version of Windows Vista Ultimate (32-
bit) with SP1. Any ideas how to make it
search subfolders? By the way, at home, I
don't see an "Advanced search options"
button. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Control Panel (classic view) >> Folder Options >> Click the 'Search' tab, set up your options as required, click 'OK'

Can't help with "advanced search" option missing.

Thanks, I'll experiment with the folder options.

Strangely enough, I've found out this problem only applies to my Documents folder, other folders work ok.
