Windows Ready Boost question

Windows ready boost is a feature that uses flash drives to store RAM. If you have 1GB of memory plug in a 1GB flash drive and click "Speed up my system" the idea is that you now have 2GB of RAM just as if you added memory the old fashioned way. My question is this if you plug in the drive say yes to the question then restart the computer while leaving the drive in do you still have 2GB or do you have to reset it?

Unfortunately, that is not 100% accurate. ReabyBoost does not supplant physical memory, although, it can help disk I/O operations in conjunction with Vista's SuperFetch scheme.
