Heya, I've looked around everywhere for a solution to this problem, and to no avail.

Here's my situation:

I'm using a Dell Inspiron Laptop, and I use it to play a lot of games, including a Proccessor consuming MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game), and it overheats a lot. Well just last night while I was playing that game, the system went absolutely nuts. I had no choice but to hard boot, and when I attempted to load Windows, I came across a blank black screen. So I loaded up Safe Mode with Networking support and hit up some forums to see what I could find. Some solutions included removing my graphics drivers, booting up msconfig, etcetera, the whole nine yards. The very former, the graphics solution was a success, but my computer would not work unless it had outdated graphics drivers. And I am a gamer, I dont like outdated graphics drivers. I've tried virus scanning, I've tried "Last Known Good Configuration", I've even tried banging my head against the wall, but none of the above have yet to satisfy. If anyone could give me the slightest bit of help getting back on my beloved "City of Heroes", or at least drop some bread crumbs to someone who can, I would be very very grateful.

Thanks All

Hi ,Josh ,
I would try a start-up repair described here via bleeping computers

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tut...

Also you could reload the drivers that you know work ,

Ahh That was the one thing that I didn't try. Well, guess I'll be destroying my house looking for the disc... Thanks for the help, I'll post another comment on this thread if it doesn't work. Should though, seems like it will...
