I run Vista x64bit Home edition and don't have windows media center. My question is, is there any type of upgrade or installation disc for just purely Windows Media Center for vista 64bit. Or getting a XP version of it to work on my vista computer? I could really use Windows Media center for setting up a new tv tuner. if not can you recommend a alternative?

... are you sure it's not There?

Grrrr... ....more

There is no Media Center In the Home eddition Mavis, that's why it's the cheapest.
It's meant for low cost, low end systems.
An upgrade to the Premium version is required, by getting the Vista Home Premium upgrade you will get a free upgrade to Windows 7.
