I am having a problem opening "Links" sent to my "Windows Mail" . I have "Vista Home"
I went to "Control Panel" and opened Defaults.
I first went to "Set your default programs" and clicked on "Windows Mail" and set it as my default"
Then I went to "Associate a file type or protocol". There I was not sure what to do. I scrolled down to "Protocols" and clicked on "Mail to Protocol" and clicked "Change Program". I did not change anything in "File Extensions".
Finally I went to "Set Program access and Computer Defaults" I clicked on "Custom". When it opened I left it on "Use my current Browser". In E Mail l left it on "Use my Current E Mail program".
When I open Internet Explorer I have it set to open Google.
When I can't open a Link in "Windows Mail", I click on "Internet Explorer" on my Desktop which opens Google. I then close it right away and for a couple minutes I'm able to open my E Mail Links.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Fitzy
