Windows Mail, large font printing

First off, I don't have Vista and I am only asking a question to help a friend who is having Windows Mail problems. He writes the email in Times Roman font 12, but when he tries to print the email, it prints in font 16 or 18. He doesn't know where to configure what he prints. Any comments that I can pass along to him? His second computer with Windows XP prints exactly the same font that the email is written in.
Summary: I have my compose mail settings set to Times New Roman, 12 point. But for some reason Windows Mail sometimes defaults to Arial 10 point. Any ideas why this is? thanks in advance ...
