Subject: Windows Explorer probs...OS: Vista Business Ed.CPU/Ram: 2.4Ghz / 2gbModel/Manufacturer: HP nx 7400 |
Comment: Hi all, I'm having some problems accessing the Control Panel is Vista for some reason. Everytime I try to access it (im trying to uninstall a program) it says "Windows Explorer has encountered a problem" bla bla bla... then restarts "Explorer.exe" ... Ok, now I have tried accessing it via "Start > Run > Control Panel and also via a command prompt, then running the various *.CPL files from c:\windows\system32\ but still the same message...Safe Mode also the same! I have looked for rogue drivers / software / updates etc to no avail! Please Help as I am starting to go gray(er) Thanks, Rob.
