Previously before I reformatted the system, Windows Explorer worked fine. However after I clean installed both my systems, one would occasionally close explorer.exe at random intervals while the other would exit Windows Explorer whenever there are video files at the particular page I'm viewing. I've tried changing the View mode to List but the problem still exist.

It could be a plugin that is causing it that you have installed on your IE. Try disabling them expect for the video plugin you are using to view videos and see if that helps if it's still doing it then it's the video player plugin itself. If it isn't reenable each plugin in one at a time until you run into the problem.

If it's broke, then blow that sucka up!
