windows explorer not responding

Hi

I have a samsung laptop which came with windows vista recently I seem to get google pages which says that internet explorer not working. I still am able to use the explorer when I click on the Icon But when I open up the laptop the following mornig a I have a blank google page which says explorer not working. So far I seem to have accumulated three of these pages. I dont seem to be able to remove them, would appreciate advice on removing them . Thanks
